Welcome to the NRDC Scholarship Program
Audition Date: Monday, August 25th, 7:00-9:00pm
If you are interested in our Scholarship Program but have missed the scholarship audition date, please call the studio.
The Na’ama Rose Dance Center (NRDC) has a limited amount of funds available each year to offer scholarships to students who would otherwise be unable to take advantage of its programs. The NRDC Scholarship Program is a need-based program available to individuals with a household income under 150% of the poverty level. Students selected for this program must also demonstrate talent, commitment, and enthusiasm. New students, as well as current scholarship students, must audition every year in order to be granted scholarship status. Auditions are held during the month of August for the Fall, Winter, and Spring sessions. Most scholarship funding reduces fees by 50%, though, in certain unusual circumstances, full scholarships are awarded. The Na’ama Rose Dance Center does not discriminate on the basis of age, race, gender, ethnic origin in the administration of its scholarship program, or any other school-administered program.
Scholarship Recipients are expected to:
- Be dedicated students of NRDC.
- Arrive on time to class and have perfect attendance, with no unapproved absences. All approved absences must be made up during the current session.
- Participate in NRDC’s Student Showcase in the Spring (if applicable).
- Sell a minimum of ten tickets for the NRDC Student Showcase.
- Comply with NRDC’s studio policies.
- Adult scholarship recipients and the parents or family members of underage scholarship recipients are required to participate in NRDC’s Volunteer Program
