Belly Dance Basics Monday 5:30-6:30pm (Sept. 13th-Nov. 1st) $112
This class is open to all ages (pre-teens, teens, and adults). Students will learn all of the fundamentals of belly dance. Basic moves such as the hip lift, camel, figure 8, Egyptian shimmy plus many more will be introduced. Students may repeat this class until ready to move into Belly Dance Level I. This is a great class for students who wish to move at a slower pace. Instructor: Allison Crane. Class held at Room to Move Studio
Belly Dance Level I Monday 6:35-7:35pm (Sept. 13th-Nov. st) $112
This class is designed for beginning level students who have completed Belly Dance Basics or enjoy working at a faster pace. Students will learn basic belly dance technique with an introduction to veil, cane, and finger cymbals. Simple, fun choreography will be introduced, as well as, an exploration into the different genres of belly dance music. Participation in the spring showcase is optional but recommended. Instructor: Na'ama Rose. Class held at Room to Move Studio.
Belly Dance Level I Thursday 7:30-8:30pm (Sept. 16th-Nov. 4th) $112

This class is designed for beginning level students with little or no prior belly dance experience. Students will learn basic belly dance technique with an introduction to veil, cane, and finger cymbals. Simple, fun choreography will be introduced, as well as, an exploration into the different genres of belly dance music. Students are eligible to perform at Arabesque's monthly Haflas and in their Student Showcase. Instructor: Na'ama Rose. Class held at Arabesque Studio.
This class is designed for beginning level students with little or no prior belly dance experience. Belly Dance Level II Monday 7:40-8:40pm (Sept. 13th-Nove. 1st) $112
This class is open to students who have a minimum of 2 or more years experience in belly dance. The fall's concentration shall be in performance and improvisation. Student's will choose or be assigned music to perform their own choreography. All aspects of performance including costumes, hair and make-up, and performance etiquette will be covered. Students must register for the fall session in order to perform in the annual student showcase in June of 2011. Instructor: Na'ama Rose. Class held at Room to Move Studio.
Yoga for Women's Health Saturday 8:30-9:30am (Sept. 12th-Oct. 31st) $112

Join your Sisters in finding fitness, fertility, fun and freedom from your womanly woes. This class is designed for women of all ages, shapes, and sizes, and addresses the many physical, emotional, and spiritual challenges we face from our child-bearing years to our golden years. Students will learn inspiring ways of addressing issues such as PMS, infertility, menopause, fatigue, weight loss, and depression. Basic belly dance moves will be used as a warm-up along with Middle Eastern and yoga music. Breath, belly massage, and visualization will also be explored. Instructor: Na'ama Rose (aka Ellie Pickering). Class held at Heartwood Center

Belly Dance Attire: All students are required to purchase veils, finger cymbals, and canes. Yoga pants or stretch pants and a form-fitting top required (please, no baggy clothes). Footwear: ballet slippers or dance sandal. See "Shop" page for online belly dance stores.
