Farmers Market
Come visit us at the Farmers Market!
NRDC will be providing entertainment for various markets in and around Park Forest from May through early September. We will be drumming and dancing at the following markets:
Park Forest (downtown): Sat. 7/19, 7/26, 8/16, and 9/13.
Richton Park (Governors Hwy & Sauk Trail): Sat. 8/2, and 8/30.
Olympia Fields (Vollmer & Governors Hwy.): Fri. 7/11, 8/8, and 9/5.
Just look for the bright red tent and listen for the sound of drums and finger cymbals – you will find us fast enough!

Leila Gamal presents "The Drum Solo" Sunday, July 27th, 1:30-3:30PM. $30
Join Leila, protégé of the great Ibrahim Farrah, in learning the most exciting aspect of belly dance – the drum solo! Students will learn intricate hip and body isolations, and a short choreography. This workshop is geared toward the intermediate and advanced student.

Wine Tasting Fundraiser and Silent Auction Saturday, Oct. 11th, 7:00-9:00pm
Join us for an evening of fine wines, Hors d'oeurvres, and performance at the beautiful Irons Oaks Nature Center located at 20000 Western Ave. in Olympia Fields. Presiding at this event will be wine connoisseur and four time winner of the Geja's Professional Wine Tasting, John Pickering.
Cost: $50 per person. Proceeds from this event will go toward funding NRDC's Outreach Program and Scholarship Program. Tickets can be purchased by calling (708)283-2800. Limited amount of tickets – purchase your tickets ASAP.
